The International Centre for Total Health and Rights Advocacy Empowerment (ICTHARAE) is a duly registered non-profit working since 2015 to tackle and address the diverse issues affecting Key Populations in Nigeria.

The organization was founded by a group of passionate and committed Nigerians as a direct response to tackling the challenges and gross human rights violations experienced by marginalized persons in the country right after the Same-Sex Marriage Prohibition Act (SSMPA) was signed into law in 2015.

Our overall goal is to provide quality health care and human rights services for the marginalized group of persons at large.

To see a society where all marginalized group of persons no matter their sexual orientation and gender identity have access to legal, and quality health care services and economic empowerment.

To advocate, propagate and resonate the rights of disadvantaged and marginalized persons, to legal, health, and social services through research, education, training, advocacy, and economic empowerment” in respective of religion, culture, ethnic group, and Sexual Orientation.
